Brett, you did a great job. Compelling account, thorough details, some great turns of phrase, lots of common sense observation, nice dry wit, and couldn't stop reading, as one exhausting day followed another up the Chilean channels. Brought alive the experience in all its hair raising dangers and endurance. You got through because you were careful and meticulous: that comes across clearly. Something you could only be brave (or foolhardy) enough to do when you're young. Took off one star for some faults in the writing, but deserves five stars for a gripping account!

The account given in this book of their trip through the Straight of Magellan in great detain and well told - a very interesting read throughout.
